3OD Automation Privacy

This notice describes 3OD Automation, Three or Die’s owner-use Mac tool, as implemented on 22 October 2026. It covers the tool’s connected-account and local data handling. It does not replace the separate privacy and cookie information for Three or Die’s Shopify merchandise store.

Information accessed and its purpose

3OD Automation uses YouTube API Services. With the account owner’s consent, manually requested checks read channel identity and video metadata. This can include channel and video IDs, names and titles, upload-list information, visibility, scheduling and publication times, audience settings, duration, processing status and available source-file details. These records support account verification, review of possible duplicate uploads, saved-plan reconciliation and upload checks.

Separate, explicitly approved private upload tests read the selected local video and send it, its title, description and approved settings to YouTube. Google’s upload permission is broader than the tool’s current private-test restrictions. The background draft checker reads saved planning metadata and makes no Google requests. Direct Google Drive API access is not part of the current connection; Drive desktop synchronization is a separate owner-managed service.

Storage and access

OAuth access and refresh tokens, resumable-upload session information and sensitive initiation-response records are stored in the owner’s encrypted macOS Keychain. OAuth client configuration and small worker-status records are kept in the owner’s internal Application Support directory. Channel and video metadata, plans, approval records and execution reports are stored locally in project JSON and SQLite files, principally on the external project drive. Existing media remains in the owner’s source libraries unless it is sent in an approved upload.

The owner and expressly approved operators control access through the Mac account, file permissions and storage settings. Ordinary reports are designed to exclude tokens and raw upload-session URLs. This notice does not claim that every local file, report, database or backup is encrypted.

Sharing and other services

Google receives information needed for Google authorization, requested API checks and approved uploads. Google’s handling of that information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. The current standalone app has no advertising, third-party analytics or AI-provider integration and does not send Google account data to Shopify.

These information pages are hosted on Three or Die’s Shopify store. The storefront’s theme, apps and service providers may process page visits or use cookies and analytics under the store’s separate privacy and cookie information. The page text itself adds no sign-in form, tracking script or Google account connection.

Retention, revocation and deletion

Local retention, review and cleanup are currently managed manually by the owner. Saved reports and upload records do not expire automatically, and automatic API-data refresh and deletion controls are not implemented.

For local data deletion or a request to disconnect the tool, contact 3odhiphop@gmail.com and identify the connected account or channel. Do not email passwords or tokens. The owner must handle local cleanup manually; this implementation does not offer an automatic deletion service.

You can revoke Google authorization in Google Account security permissions. Revocation does not itself erase local records or videos already stored by YouTube. Deleting local app data also does not delete YouTube content; manage that content separately through YouTube’s own controls.
