3OD Automation

3OD Automation is an owner-use Mac tool for Three or Die’s music and media operations. It helps approved operators inspect saved content plans, check connected YouTube channels, and run separately approved private upload tests. It is not a public signup service.

What the tool does today

• A lightweight background worker checks saved draft-slot metadata. It does not contact Google, read video content, upload, schedule, or publish posts.
• Owner-invoked YouTube commands check channel identity and video metadata, including visibility, scheduling and processing status.
• A separate private-test uploader checks the approved file and channel, then verifies the resulting video. Public posting and unattended uploading are not enabled.

Existing Google Drive and external-drive libraries are owner-managed media sources. The current standalone account connection uses the YouTube Data API; it does not include Google Drive API authorization.

Google permissions and control

The tool requests YouTube read-only access and, for separately approved private tests, YouTube upload access. Google describes the upload permission as “Manage your YouTube videos.” It is broader than this tool’s private-test restrictions. Connecting an account does not approve a public post or a future batch.

Google handles account sign-in and consent. The tool does not request your Google password. Access can expire or be revoked.

Privacy and use

Review the 3OD Automation Privacy Notice before using connected-account features. By using 3OD Automation’s YouTube features, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

This app information is separate from Three or Die’s Shopify merchandise store. Store visits, purchases, cookies and store analytics are not described by the app notice.
